College Admission Eligibility 2025

Required Documents — College Admission

• Class 12th Marksheet aur Certificate
• Class 10th Marksheet (DOB proof ke liye)
• Jharkhand Domicile Certificate
• Caste Certificate (SC/ST/OBC ke liye — original)
• Income Certificate (EWS, scholarship ke liye)
• Migration Certificate (if from other state board)
• Aadhar Card
• Passport Size Photographs (6 copies)
• Character Certificate (from 12th college)
• Bank Passbook (scholarship transfer ke liye)
• Disability Certificate (if applicable)

College Admission Apply Process — JAC Portal

1. JAC Portal Par Jaayein: Apni university ka portal kholo — Ranchi University, Kolhan University, etc. ya common JAC admission portal.
2. Register Karein: Mobile number se OTP verify karke account banao. Email bhi verify karo.
3. Course Select Karein: BA/BSc/BCom aur subject combination choose karo. Core subject + electives.
4. Personal Details Bharein: 12th marks, category, address accurately likhein.
5. Documents Upload Karein: Photo (max 50KB), signature (max 20KB), marksheet scan (max 200KB).
6. College Preference Dein: Up to 5-10 colleges choose kar sakte hain preference order mein.
7. Application Fee Pay Karein: Online payment — approx ₹200-500 per application.
8. Form Print Karein: Submitted application print karo reference ke liye.
9. Merit List Check Karein: University portal par merit list dekho — Round 1, 2, 3.
10. College Mein Jaayein: Allotted college mein documents verify karwao aur fees jama karo.

College Admission 2025 Dates

Merit List — College Admission

• Merit 12th ke aggregate marks ke basis par banti hai
• Relevant subject ka extra weightage milta hai (e.g., BSc Maths ke liye Math marks)
• Reservation policy: SC 12%, ST 26%, OBC 14%, EWS 10% (Jharkhand norms)
• Girls ko 33% seats reserved hoti hain kuch colleges mein
• 3-4 merit rounds hote hain — late rounds mein cutoff kam hoti hai
• College + course combination ke hisaab se alag merit list

Application Correction

• Form submit ke baad correction window 3-5 days ke liye hoti hai
• Marks, personal details, address correct kar sakte hain
• College preference bhi correction mein change ho sakti hai
• Final submission ke baad counseling stage par college change possible hai (if seat available)
